Communicate with your members easily and quickly by email. It’s probably safe to assume that many co-ops already do this. But for those who don’t yet, it’s a great time saver.
Collect the email addresses of as many members as possible, and add them to a Group in your address book. Of course keeping the Group up to date is important. You might want to send the email to yourself, with the Group BCC’d (blind carbon copied), so that you’re not distributing personal emails to everyone.
It’s a great way to remind members of an upcoming GMM, let them know about sector issues and education events, announce new services (like online H/C payment), office closings, send seasonal greetings, etc.
Printed copies of the emails can be delivered to members who don’t have access to email.
