This senior position in the co-op requires a broad range of skills and capabilities. The manager oversees the finances, keeps the co-op full and in good repair, ensures legal requirements are met, supports good governance, and works seamlessly with people of diverse backgrounds and socio- economic condition. The duties of the manager vary. In a small co-op the manager can personally carry out all of these responsibilities. In a larger co-op, the manager supervises employees who carry out specific departmentalized duties.
